Third Week of Work Immersion - Sherwood Hills Golf Club
August 1 2017, Day 8
We arrived in Sherwood at around 1:15 in the afternoon. Ma'am Sai gave me a task, she asked me to arrange the papers from the latest to the oldest record. Right after the paper arrangement Rei John, Jamil, and I were tasked to proceed to the engineering department, there we received a lecture about the parts of an air conditioning unit. We also used Multi-tester, Clamp Ammeter and Welding Unit under the supervision of Sir Paulo. He also showed us the air conditioning system of Sherwood Hills.
August 3 2017, Day 9
We arrived at Sherwood Hills Golf Club at around 12:57 in the afternoon. Ma'am Marie then showed us the As-Built Plan of Sherwood Hills. Right after, Sir Bert endorsed us in the Engineering Department. There Sir Paulo, introduced to us the different materials needed in welding and cutting steels and metals such as welding tip, cutting torch, welding mask, welding gloves, tube cutter, welding machine, and acetylene unit. He also taught us how to mix acetylene gas and oxygen needed for welding and cutting steels.
August 4 2017, Day 10
We arrived at 12:58 in the afternoon. Sir Bert then tasked us to cut out the decoration specifically the stars needed for the decoration of the wedding ceremony to be held on August 19 2017. After our task, Sir Paulo gave us the print outs regarding the Engineering Department.
August 5 2017, Day 11
We arrived at Sherwood Golf Club early in the morning. Ma'am Sai tasked me and Rei John to sort of the music in Sales Marketing and Management Laptop. After sorting we were assigne to the Food and Beverage Department, there we helped preparing and cooking the orders of Sherwood's Client. i experience cooking ramen and Bulgogi, we also sorted out the ingredients according to their kilograms. After that, we were tasked to prepare and cook turon.
August 6 2017, Day 12
I arrived 7:44 in the morning. I then proceed to the kitchen to asko for directives from Chef Jovel. I peeled off onions then prepared Lumpia. Sir Orly also assigned me to cook ramen for the customers orders. Then we were tasked to wipe off eating utensils and silverwares. After everything, Sir Dennis asked Jamil and I to help him in the inventory report of the food and beverage department.
